You can start Google Talk Messenger in different modes using some simple startup parameters. The general syntax to use this parameter is :

C:\Program Files\Google\Google Talk\googletalk.exe /parameter

Where the Parameter should be replaced with any of the following parameters :

/nomutex : allows you to open more than one instance of Google Talk so that you could log in into different Google accounts at the same time in Google Talk ( Runs Multiple Google Talk with Different Google Mail IDs / Accounts )

/register : Writes Google Talk settings in the system registry

/checkupdate : Checks for any New Version of Google Talk

/factoryreset : Revert to default settings

/mailto email@gmail.com : Sends an eamil with Gmail

/diag : Starts Google Talk in Diagnostic mode
